Holly Rigsby Endorses IronBody Fitness PDF Print E-mail

Holly Rigsby owner of http://www.getfitandyummy.com a fitness site devoted to helping women lose the fat after having a baby is a client of mine. She, her husabd Pat who is a highly regarded fitness business consultant among other things and Tyler all attend classes at IronBody.

Holly has been doing kettlebells with me since the family moved here from Elizabethtown, Ky in January of 2009. I trained she and Pat in kettlebells and Holly has beeen training with me ever since. She even ran some classes for me last year when I went out of town.

Pat just started back with me after deciding he needs me to kick his butt back into shape Sealed. Tyler started in my kids ShaolinDo Kids class at its inception about 2 months ago. He's is doing great.

A Week’s Worth of Fitness

Here’s another peek into our family’s weekly routine!





Staying active and fit is a priority for everyone in my family.

No matter what the season, Tyler is involved in at least 1 sport and encouraged to take part in free play after homework.

Morning walks aside, my husband and also I make time to workout together at least twice a week when our schedules allow us to – that is : )

Dave Randolph’s kettlebell studio “Iron Body Fitness” is actually a place that we ALL frequent throughout the week.

I take my kettlebell class once a week as well as see Cheryl for my pre-natal massages (Absolute HEAVEN!). Patrick meets with Dave for corrective based workouts and Tyler sees Dave twice a week for Kung Fu Class.

Keeping Tyler active as well as SHOWING him that staying active is a priority in our lives too, has influenced Tyler in so many positive ways.

From the focus and dedication he puts into his classes and practices (as seen in the video) to the way he spends his free time.

This kid can be seen taking the time to improve whatever skill was taught that week with no prompting from us. While he loves to read and is “into” Harry Potter, he has such an active spirit it is hard for him to sit still for long. When he is up and moving, instead of wandering aimlessly – he has a focus and takes pride in the fun he has as he practices on his own.

This makes me so proud and thankful that not only have our habits rubbed off on him, but we have set him up to be successful by getting him involved with activities that compliment his needs and personality. Plus we have been blessed to have the opportunity to have such amazing coaches – such as Dave Randolph!

And I have to brag on HIM for a moment since he has played such a big role in all our lives. I am so excited to share that Dave is officially a published author! Check out his new book “The Spartan Warrior Workout”!
