Don't fall for the tricks, gimmicks, bold headlines and amazing claims made by those in the weight loss industry. Their sole function is to make their owners $$$$$$$.

They don't care about your health and well-being, in fact they thrive on the fact that you can't lose the weight. They are more than happy to tell you they can help and that within hours, days or weeks you can lose unsightly fat now, 

The equipment companies tell you you can get Amazing Abs in just minutes a day,.

 

 

These companies made $518 BILLION from the sales of exercise equipment and $207 billion was from Ab exercise devices! alone!!

Why are we so focused on having 6-pack abs? Having visible abs does not mean we are strong, healthy or fit. It does mean we are lean, but people that get wrapped up in getting that 6-pack often become obsessed and may start starving themselves or become bulimic or anorexic just to get the look.

 For all of you that have purchased these types of products, did you get the results they promised? If not, did you call for a refund or to complain? You should. They are feeding you a bunch of lies. You can't spot reduce, you can't loose weight without proper diet and exercise. And that exercise needs to be heavy on resistance training not cardio.

Why not cardio? From Craig Ballantyne, author of Turbulence Training:

"A recent study published by the North American Association for the Study of Obesity, subjects aged 40 to 75 were instructed to do 60 minutes of aerobic exercise per day for 6 days per week for an entire year.

Given the amount of exercise, you'd expect weight losses of 20, 30 pounds, or more, right?

Well, the surprise findings showed the average fat loss for female subjects was only 4 pounds for the entire year, while men lost 6.6 pounds of fat over the year. That's over 300 hours of aerobic exercise just to lose a measly 6 pounds of blubber. Not time well spent, in my opinion."

You can lose weight through aerobic exercise and dieting, but without strength training you'll also lose precious lean body mass which lowers your metabolism so your body burns even less calories than when you started a diet in the first place.

Also, strength training is the only way to reshape your body."

No matter the tool, kettlebells, barbells or sandbags, lift for strength and you will loose weight & re-shape your body
