Study finds many baby foods worse than adult junk foods PDF Print E-mail

A report on MSNBC says that many baby foods are extremely high in sugars, saturated fats and contain trans-fatty acids, all of which have been shown to cause obesity and heart disease.

Come on people wake the f@&k up! Read the labels. If it has crap in it that you know you shouldn't be eating why would you feed it to your kids?????

Do you really think the food and drug industries have yours or your family's best interests at heart?? For the most part all they care about is making a buck. If they can get infants hooked on sugar they have them hooked for life.

Is there any wonder why obesity in kids is so high and getting higher and why so many kids and adults are in such poor shape?

"Many foods marketed for babies and young children are advertised as healthy. In reality, in terms of sugar and saturated fat content, some are worse than junk food."

Read the label! Pretty much the same rules apply regardless of age: whole, fresh, raw and organic is what is healthy. The more processed any food is, baby or adult, the worse it is.
