Tonight's group went outside to play Jason, Rusty, Jeremy, Kelly & myself. Sorry no video tonight as I was training along side the others Earlier in the day I did some barbell cleans, push presses, jerks & clean and jerks as practice with 135.Along with some getups with 40k bell. The main workout was 5 stations Prowler 270lbs Sled 160lbs sandbag shoulder carries 115lbs overhead walks 90lb bar tire flips 160lb tire
we only did 1x. The length of the course is about For the prowler we only pushed from the high post. The asphalt changes about 1/2 way going from smooth & black to very rough & in need of resurfacing. Hit that area and come to a screeching halt! It sucks and is impossible to push a heavy weight from low post. The sled we tied a rope around our waists and pulled it forward for the 1/2 lap, the turned around and walked backwards holding the rope (1.5"x10'), that wasn't too bad. The tire flipping was a bit tough, right at 30 reps for 1/2 lap or 60 total. Basically doing 60 deadlits with 160lbs. Overhead walks with 90lb bar weren't too bad and you get to throw it to the grass at the end which is always fun! The sandbag carries were a bitch, Getting 115lb of dead weight on the shoulder was bad enough, carrying it 120ft as it compresses your lungs is hard. It took about 35 to 40 minutes to complete 1 circuit and every one of us was toast, but we had a great time with it!
Perhaps we'll do it for tomorrow's 12:30 class
